Voltenum was founded to explore and showcase the possibilities of batteries. We believe in a sustainable future where batteries become an integral part of both homes and businesses.
Since 2023, Voltenum has been committed to a more sustainable world. In June of that year, discussions arose about the energy market and the lack of information on battery energy storage in the Netherlands. Advice and products were scarcely available, which was a striking observation. This sparked an in-depth exploration of energy storage, technologies, and energy markets.
Later that year, Voltenum was officially founded. Our mission is clear:
Contributing to a more sustainable world through smart energy storage. We summarize this in our slogan: “The battery as a smart energy source.”

The founders researched battery storage and identified a lack of high-quality solutions. This led to the idea of launching a brand that delivers both quality and expertise.

Market research is conducted: Which products perform well? How does the Dutch energy grid work? What is needed for effective energy storage?
Start Voltenum
Voltenum B.V. is officially founded and establishes its office and warehouse at Heulsstraat 8 in Heerlen.
The First Products
The first batteries arrive and are tested, along with the initial inverters. Additionally, the need for an advanced EMS becomes evident.
Website Launch 1.0
We launch our website and open registration for our first partners.
EMS release 1.0
After extensive research, we initiate a collaboration for the development and enhancement of Voltenum Connect.
